Pumpkin Patch '12

Yesterday morning we woke up early to hit up the pumpkin patch before the huge crowds arrived.  Erik and Destiny met us there.  We go to Spooner Farm down by Orting because it is fun and free!  It was a great day to go, it was very sunny, but not too hot so that we could still wear our sweaters for better fitting pictures.

We had fun walking through the pumpkins to find some good ones

He was deathly afraid of this spider

He liked sticking his limbs through the pumpkin though

Next we went to the smaller stuff for food.  Sawyer helped Erik and Destiny load corn, and he had way too much fun doing it. He counted it as it went in.

Erik made a jokingly sarcastic comment towards Sawyer and he got so upset his lip stuck out for 5 minutes. I'm surprised he even knew what Erik said.  Something about packing the corn better lol.

Uncle Erik made it up to him by buying him a cookie. Despite the confused look here, he enjoyed it.

I said "screw you braces" and got a roasted corn since everyone else was talking about how good it was. He is showing off his cookie.

Afterwards we went to see the animals (chickens, turkeys, pigs, chicks, goats, donkeys), and he got to color while sitting on pumpkins.  His absolute favorite was the duck racing though.  We were there forever!

We had a ton of fun, then went to Value Village to find a costume for Sawyer.  He looks adorable in his costume, we just had to persuade him with candies to try it on.  Hopefully he realizes how many candies he gets on Halloween and keeps it on all night.
