Easter '15: egg hunt

Sawyer finally got his Gup X he had been wanting for so long!

Piper is ONE

I finally had a chance to upload some pictures from my camera.  First off was Piper's birthday party.  It was so cute.  There were tons of people there, and even had an easter egg hunt!

Spring '15 Karate Tournament

Sorry I am getting worse!  I have so many things to upload :(  Here is one that was just from my phone so I can post from work while waiting for the daily load to come in.

Saturday was the spring karate tournament!  California Grandma and Papa made it up to watch and Sawyer was SOOOOOO happy. (My parents also came later)

These are the kids that have HIS instructor (sensei Jeff) you can see Sawyer waving to me in the very back.
The first event was strongest punch, followed by strongest kick.  Sawyer just has the skinniest arms and legs compared to the others, and he ended up getting last :(  He still did his best and got medals so he was happy.

The next event was fastest fist (the machine beeps and it measures how long until you hit it). He won a trophy for second place- he was so excited!

Next came fastest kick, and he took FIRST!

It was so cute, she had him say his name and what he won into the microphone.  The picture is potato quality, but you can just see the excitement on his face (and feet) below as he yells "FIRST PLLLACE!" (He says his "L's" so cute.)
Next was the escape drill, which he had practiced so much.  We were so nervous for that one, especially since the first kid was really fast, but Sawyer took first in that one too!  You have to run through 4 people and escape and you get timed.

Here he is, so proud of his trophies.  He would only hold the two first-place ones :)
