So, it has been awhile since I've been to the dentist. You are supposed to go every 6 months but I failed. It was before we got married, because I was pregnant soon after and I didnt want to go around the xray machine so I didnt go the time I was pregnant. Now Sawyer is 7 months so yeah....awhile now.
I looked at pictures of me and my teeth are so crooked so I wanted to get invisalign. I realized I should probably visit the dentist before I go to an orthodontist because if I did go through with it, I should probably get any fillings i need before they figure out the shape of my teeth. Plus I think they prefer referrals. I know I will need some fillings/those fillings that aren't for cavities but prevent them because I grind them down and they have been sensitive as of late (past couple weeks) which means I have been grinding more than usual I guess.
I hate the dentist. I think I get more nervous there than if I were waiting for a doctor to tell me test results. First of all, they yell at me for not flossing. I DO floss, I just dont push down as hard as they do causing my gums to swell! Then, there is all that metal. Most people that know me know that I will not eat with metal silverware at home because I hate metal in my mouth and the feeling of it on teeth. The dentist is just a bunch of poking at my teeth with metal :( I am also not looking forward to taking Sawyer in there now that he doesn't like sitting still- and I will be walking there (its only like a block away) so I wont be taking his carseat anyway.
Wednesday is the day. 4:00pm. I booked it sooner so I wouldnt have time to get nervous. I already am :-/

Long Weekend 1/30
Saturday we went up to the Pacific Science Center because we got tickets to the Harry Potter exhibit. When my dad's boss found out we were going, she gave us tickets to go into the actual center because they were printing things for them and got 4 tickets. They didn't know who to give them to because if they announced it, everyone would want them, but my dad got them since we were already going :)
We couldn't take pics of the Harry Potter exhibit but it was pretty much just tons of props from the movie like their costumes and wands and stuff like that. It was funny because at the beginning they took 3 kids to put on the sorting hat and Sawyer was fine, but the second they would announce the house ("GRYFFINDOR!") he started screaming. The hat would start talking again and he'd be fine, but when the hat announced the house again, he screamed again. It was so weird because the hat wasnt loud or anything, I guess Sawyer just didnt agree with the hat's decisions lol. There was a lot of scary things the rest of the place, but he was fine the rest of the time.
Afterwards that night (at like 9:30) we went to Jake and Tyrell's to play games with them and Nate and Jill. It took like a half hour for them to figure out the rules of a card game lol, we only ended up playing it for like 5 minutes after that. We also played my favorite game Apples to Apples.
********************************
Today we went to Red Robin with Jenna. She got us a gift card for christmas so we went to spend it. YUM.
Afterwards we went to the Tacoma mall to get some clothes :) "retail therapy" lol
We got back and I had Andy take pictures of me and Sawyer. I set them up, had him take them, then I photo shopped them. You can click to make them big, sometimes they look funny small.
It was soon time to meet Andy's Dad and Jan, and Davey and Moraima for Thai food. Sawyer also got his presents from grandma and grandpa. I loved the rubber ball donkey thing sawyer can sit on and he loves it too!
It felt like it was extra long weekend because of all the things we did, but i also feel like i need an extra day to recover!

A few new things
Sawyer started a few new things today...
Yes, that is a complete push-up position hahaha his knees aren't even on the ground, those are just the dents in his pajamas that are close
He has started doing this face- spitting out all that drool I guess. This picture cracks me up.
We got our tax return today so we got him this ball tonight. It rolls around on its own and lights up when you push the buttons and stuff. It is pretty cool.
Here are a couple more pictures I just took of his cute little smile and new teeth :)
Oh, and here is his army crawl in picture form. He is getting pretty quick and efficient with his legs:
Good night! Well i guess it is morning by now. Busy day tomorrow!

Something to do
Facebook is awesome. Not only does it let you keep in touch with people that you most likely wouldn't have, but it gives you the ability to announce anything to a lot of people at once. Today I announced I was bored and had no car, and my friend Ashley invited me to lunch! Woot. What would have been boring due to my still broken car and my early day, became more fun.
We went to Famous Dave's. Sawyer is a lot more difficult now that he doesn't sleep all day and is more active, so I had to take him out of his seat and put him in the high chair to play with the coasters. Brea slept the whole time like a good little bebe. It was tasty and the server drew a pig on a plate with BBQ sauce lol.
Sawyer passed out in the car so I got an hour nap today too! YAY! The sad part was my lens came last night and I wanted to take pics since I would be home while it was still nice out, but Sawyer slept until it got dark :(

I think it is a good week
I think this has been a good week. I may be speaking too soon. I hope not. I feel like not much has been going on, but some good things happen/ed this week:
-I made dump cake and though i think i screwed it up a little (andy usually makes it), it tasted good. Not as good as a dutch oven makes them, but good nonetheless
-Venom won their soccer game on Tuesday. Plus we had no subs so we all got an extra workout
-I feel pretty prepared for the audit at work. We normally get it around april, but 3 of the stores in the area had theirs this week. We were certain we'd have it tomorrow because the other puyallup store had theirs, but we didnt get the call. They call between 4-4:30 the day before so me and my mgr were staring at her phone nervously today haha. They usually dont do them Fridays, so we should be good for the rest of the week.
-We made reservations at the ocean for July 4th (so far with the Webbs and Jensens) YAY
-Sawyer's leg warmers came today and i ordered them mid day Monday. That was QUICK (especially for free shipping)! He got dino babylegs, chocolate and blue striped hugalugs, and just plain black babylegs. here are the first 2:
- Andy has been a good cook this week with different chicken recipes
-My lens is scheduled to arrive tomorrow
-Our favorite shows tomorrow (aka The Office, Parks and Rec, and Community)
-Friday we plan to see Sydney and Gabe at Trackside which we haven't seen forever (weird since she used to live with us)
-Saturday= HARRY POTTER EXHIBIT at the Pacific Science Center (they have all the movie props there) with my parents and Five Guys before
-Sunday= Red Robin with Jenna for lunch with her giftcard (we love free)
-Sawyer continues to crack me up with his abilities to find things I have lost and eat them. He has ruined like 6 coupons though, but he found my lost headband under the blanket box

weekend attempt part 2
This last weekend we had no plans, which sometimes is the best plan!
Saturday we got Sawyer all cute to go see his girlfriend Brea so me and her mom could take a walk. We walked from Springfield to the fountain entrance of Sunrise, to the Emerald Ridge light and back. It doesn't seem that long when you drive, but it took us 2 hours haha.
Sunday I slept until 12:30 while Andy went grocery shopping. Then I made them go take pictures in the empty lot next door.
Then Sawyer ate his rice cake and I fed him banana orange rice sweet potato medley while Andy made delicious dinner. He is so good in the kitchen :)
Good news: my extra picture storage went through because the pics all worked! yay!
*To explain: When you upload pics to your blog it is actually uploading them to an album on picasa (a website) and posting them here. You only get 1gig of free storage though so in order to keep uploading pictures to your blog you have to pay for a bigger picasa album or start uploading them to another site. I paid $5 a year to get 20gig (you pay more for more storage) or you can go into that picasa album and delete your old blog photos which would mean they disappear forever off your blog.*

Out of storage space
I was posting a blog last night and my picture storage ran out (1gig) so I had to buy 20 gigs for $5. Ugh. It is worth $5 i guess because its a waste of time uploading pictures to another website, shrinking them to fit on here better, then posting the html code.
If you don't want to pay you have to go back through and delete pictures off the picasa album it makes for you, but then the pictures won't show up on your blog anymore.
Hopefully it goes through by tonight and I can have my normal blog for the weekend up!

Its Friday night
and I ju-ju-ju-ju-just....got paid. Anyone else remember that *Nsync song? Anyone? No Strings Attached? No? Ok...
Anyway we went to Borders to get the book club book, and Hilary Duff's new book. Yes, she wrote a novel. Andy said it was actually supposed to be good so I'll bite. Review to come after I finish the giant book for book club, Enchantment (or something like that)
We had no choice but to go to Taco Del Mar since it was next door. ;) I LOVE TDM. I am jealous of the Borders parking lot because they get Del Mar and Jamba Juice (2 of my favorites) while I have Qdoba and Emerald City Smoothie which are the exact same type of restaurants, but I dont like either :( Sawyer met a baby friend Landon. As we were walking out, Andy said "I should have asked them out" Yes, he meant ask random strangers on a friend date. He is so weird. He was serious. I told him he can ask people out when I am not there to embarrass.
We then went to the Tacoma mall as I was on the hunt for a lens. They closed 2 camera stores by my house, and the only one I knew of was in the Tac. Mall. Well, it WAS there. Closed that one too. Weird to me because photography has gotten super trendy lately so I thought they'd be selling more stuff, but Andy said they probably made most of their money developing film- good point. We did, however, stop in Abercrombie as usual and they were having 50% off red tag items so they were super sale. They had the shirts I wore the entire time I was pregnant- seriously from week 1-37 when I had him. They were half off the clearance (so like $15) so I got another one. If you are planning to be prego ever (or again) you should pick a few up- just get large size. They are "perfect stretch" and extra long so they end up just right when you have a bump or no bump.
We tried best buy for the lens, but they only had 3 and they were all zoom lenses and I want a prime lens (50mm f/1.8). Booo. Maybe we will find a camera store tomorrow.
Andy just did our taxes because his W2 finally came. He said we should start spelling Saywer "$awyer" because we got $1,400MORE than last year....to be deposited into our account in 8-14 days. Thanks dude. This will be nice! Unfortunately we've spent more than that on him but it is a nice surprise lol. Andy also just informed me that we would get an extra thousand back based on just his income if I wasnt working which i get pushes us into a higher bracket, but i gave them like $7,000 in taxes, you'd think I'd get more back instead of getting LESS back. How does us giving them more money mean we get less back than if i didnt pay them anything? Boooo. Oh well.
Something convenient: Sawyer will hold his bottle the whole time now. We used to have to hand it to him just right to get him to hold it but now we can do this:
Here's more I did in PS (same pictures I had before though, new edits)
