Sicky

Sawyer has had a runny nose for like 2 weeks now.  This weekend he had a fever and on Monday Andy missed school, and i only worked 3 hours so we could stay home with him.  It was awful.  We had to hold him the whole time or else he would scream! I got him in his jumperoo long enough to make some toast to eat, but barely made it.  He had to sleep on our arm in our bed to get any rest.  On one of Andy's nights, he had to stand up with Sawyer positioned up for a few hours in the middle of the night! He couldnt sit or lay down or position sawyer differently.  He got like no sleep.  This is definitely weird because as most people know, he isnt a crier so i knew how uncomfortable he must be.  We kept having to give him tylenol and suck his nose which he hates.  We think he is teething because that happened exactly to Cooper when he was teething (runny nose for months and he got fevers)  He seemed to calm down a bit too when we gave him ora gel.

Last night was success.  He slept in our bed, but didnt wake up all night (well, he did when i noticed he peed our bed and changed his clothes at like 5am) but was a rollie pollie ollie the whole time and snorts like a little piggy so i am hoping he goes back to his crib tonight.  It is kind of cute waking up at night and a little person is right there poking you though :) I just dont like being squished at the edge of the bed so i dont flatten him.

I almost forgot: I love when sawyers in front of me and he leans back and looks up at me with his wrinkly forehead and beady eyes.  He did that earlier today and i was like:
Me: You look like an owl
Saywer: Owl
Me: What? Say owl again
S: Owl
Me: say owl
S: Owl
Me: owl
S: owl
I know he has no idea what he was saying or probably that he was even doing it but it was soooo cute, me and andy loved it
