Over the bridge

We were bored today and it was nice so we went to our neighborhood park to take a few pictures and play on the slide.  These are weirdly edited versions, but here's some.

Then we headed out for a drive across the bridge.  It was very pretty out.

We ended up a the Blazin Onion for lunch.  It is next door to the AT&T in Gig Harbor and I had heard awesome things from people that work there. 10/10 would eat again.  It is funny because they don't have normal servers, so if you need something you put the service sign in the condiment holder.

Sawyer was asleep by the time we got there, and was pretty cute hanging on to Andy as he fell asleep off and on.  He got his chicken nuggets he had been asking for all day though.

The burger was one of the best I've had!

Next we went back across the bridge and went to Chambers Creek park.  It was really pretty as the sun was setting!

Sawyer spotted the "playground by the Sound" and wanted to play on the slides.  It was a nice playground and the running trail there is really nice too- we will definitely be back.

I'll put a video up of him going down a different slide sometime.  It was like a straight down drop it was so steep.  Sawyer's pretty funny.  In the car he'll go "OH NO! There's giant robots and monsters in the trees!  I'll get them *pew pew pew* (shoots them with his fingers) I'm the hero!"

Sawyer's and Andy are getting over their colds at least.  I feel bad because Andy's half marathon is in one week and he hadn't missed a run, but now only one week before he missed a 3 miler and an 8 mile run.  This week he is supposed to take it easy (the last "run" is a 2-mile walk a few days before the race) so I hope he is up to par after his cold!
