Sawyer's such a weirdo.
Lately he's been making me take all the stickers off and put them on him, but then he will wrinkle them up and throw them on the floor.
The other day he put the bucket on his head and made me get him a spoon out of the drawer so he could hit himself in the bucket head with it. One wasn't enough because he made me get another one so he could hit himself at double time.
He also thinks he can read. Whenever he sees letters somewhere he says random ones in a tone like he really knows what they are. It is usually a...b...q...i...w...o...y (those are the most common, sometimes he switches in some different ones) except "w" sounds like "ahbyoo". I think it is because his favorite show is "Super Why" which is all reading. He always tries to answer when they ask questions too, and he puts his hands in with them and goes "rescue!" and puts his in the air like they do, it is so funny. He makes us put it on from the On Demand all the time, but I guess it is an improvement since the episodes are different, unlike having to watch the same Cars every day like we used to LOL.

Wax on, wax off, eat
Today my team was having a car was to get to Montana. I'm not going but I stopped by to hold a sign for an hour or so until Sawyer couldn't sit still anymore. We made quite a bit of money, and still have another one next weekend! Sawyer was helping by pointing at cars, blowing kisses at them, and holding the sign.
Next we went to my parents to eat some ham and hang out with them and Erik & Destiny. My dad played with Sawyer in the backyard forever, he had so much fun.
We got home and went for a jog together (for the first time) in our Vibrams. My calves were burning, but it was fun.
I am sad the weekend is over, but glad we made good use of this one again!

Sun and Thirty-one
This weekend was gorgeous weather! Wow!
Yesterday started at 9:30 to set up for my rugby game against the Seattle Mudhens. They are a division 1 team that competes nationally and has a few girls that have played for national teams. Needless to say, we lost...but we did pretty well. It was really fun because they play clean (which is more than you can say for any of the other teams this year) and they gave us a good run. They ran a bunch of plays and even their skinny people had power normally only the bigger girls can carry but had the agility as well. We actually scored 3 or 4 times though which is pretty good. I left the game feeling great (probably because their tackles weren't so scrappy LOL) and had a lot of fun. We hung around the field for awhile afterwards and I was rewarded man of the match for the backs and even got some funny socks for it :) I played pretty well I guess and people kept saying good job because I had a good boot once. Here is a picture someone took of me about to attempt a stiff arm on that girl:
Later that day we had people from Andy's work over to celebrate his birthday the next day. I played catch with a football with my brother in the street for like an hour which was probably a bad idea.
Today we woke up for Andy's birthday sunburnt and sore from the day before (I could barely move) and headed to the spring fair with Erik and Destiny (her mom has stock in the fair so they get free tickets). We got to the fair to eat. I got the most delicious philly cheesesteak, and a cone from the dairy barn :) We also looked at the animals and watched a lumberjack show...which is funny because they are called "Sawyers" (guys that saw), and just overall absorbed the sun.
Afterwards Leslie and Krissy invited us to play in their co-ed softball game today because they might be short people. I was a little worried because of my soreness, but (no hating because I played for 11 years) softball doesn't really take much of anything so we were fine. You can be morbidly obese and succeed in baseball lol. We both did OK too and even though the other team dominated us, me and Andy both got to score. A few people said to both of us that we were really fast so that was nice :) They are going to call us more when they need players too. We both just have to get used to hitting an arched ball. I haven't played slow pitch since I was 10, and it is quite difficult to get back in the weird arch thing after hitting flat pitches for so long.
Afterwards it was still warm out and we drove up to Jersey Mike's Subs for his birthday dinner. SOOOOO good as always.
I am so glad Andy was able to enjoy his birthday weekend! The sun came out just for him.

1234
Yesterday was not a good day. Andy and I don't get frustrated with each other pretty much ever. Well yesterday I got annoyed at Andy because I got Sawyer ready to come to practice with me, but Andy didn't want to take him because there were rain showers. I wanted him to help with baby Renner becuase Shelly's husband wouldn't be there. Well I left annoyed and he showed up to practice because he saw how frustrated I was. Well then I was frustrated that he drove all that way in a different car (it costs exactly $10 for me to drive to practice and back, in the truck anyway). Karma's a b****. It ended up being all tackling drills and I didn't have my mouthguard for the first time in...well, ever. I had to sit out a lot. I decided to go in once and got elbowed straight up under my jaw/throat. I sat out a bit more and ended up deciding to try again because they needed even numbers on teams. I got elbowed right in my eye (I have a bit of a black eye by my eyebrow). Andy had left because Kyndyl wanted to go to Red Robin and I didn't get to go because of practice. I learned my lesson, don't get frustrated at Andy ever again!
I got home and I was in tears (again rare) because I knew I shouldn't have been so annoyed at Andy, my eye hurt so bad, and I was embarassed because I just left practice because of my awful day. Luckily Andy brought me a burger and Sawyer was being good. He came and laid with me and watched New Girl without wiggling. We also realized he can count...kind of. I had tried it earlier in the day and it went like this
Me: One
Him: Two
Me: Three
Him: "Hor"
Me: Five
Him: "Hix"
I tried it again and after "hor" he went "X, Y..." Hmm. Maybe he can't count so well lol. We got this video of him last night though.
Let's hope my share of karma is done with. I can't take anymore elbows.

burgers and ducks
Today was NICE! It was probably at least 65-70 degrees depending on the time of day.
My parents showed up this morning with a surprise for Andy...a GRILL! It is half gas and half charcoal. His birthday is coming up in a week so it was for that and part housewarming. I am SO excited to eat steaks, and I'm sure Andy is excited to cook on something so manly haha. He just needs to get some time to put it together.
We wanted to do something outside to enjoy the weather so we went to a burger place down in Fife that my mom and dad talked about last night. It is called like pick quick or something...one of those cash-only huts that are only opened part of the year. It was pretty good! Sawyer made a mess, but what's new?
Next we went to Decoursey to see the ducks. Or whatever that park is called, it is the one across from the baseball field one. They should just call them the same park if you ask me. Anyways, we went to look at the ducks at Clark's Creek lol. It was fun and Sawyer loved the ducks...and he loved shooting the ducks (he does this by pointing his finger at them and making that ckckckckc noise). There is a park there so he got to have fun going down the slides again.

Bowling and vids
I wanted to post what we did yesterday, and wanted to show the video of Sawyer on the slide, it is quick.
After my game against Western Oregon University (which we won) we showered and headed to Destiny's to celebrate her birthday with cake and bowling. It was bowling for dollars so random colored pins appeared and if they were in the right positions and you got a strike, you'd win money. You could also win if you got spares if they were splits. You just have to wait for the guy walking around with the microphone to call your lane out first. Andy won $3 (2 once and 1 another time) and he was sooooo close to getting $25! It was a split with 2 on the left and one on the right. He hit them perfect and the 2 on the left went flying to the right side but by some force of nature the one pin didn't get hit :( It was fun though! I never broke 100 though lol I got 96,78,and 69. Andy got 106,126, and 181! My dad even broke 200 on his last game with his puffed up sea urchin thumb he had wrapped and an extra big hole to fit it. We are thankful for Krissy and Leslie that came to watch Sawyer for us so we could go!
P.S.I found these from Easter on the youtube account when I was looking for the slide so I wanted to make sure I got those posted :) Kind of long though.

DL
Yesterday Janelle called at about 11am because Sawyer had thrown up. He was perfectly fine and energetic when I dropped him off, but when I went to get him, he was pretty much green. He looked awful! He was like a zombie walking over to me. I covered him in a blanket for the ride in case he spewed, but we were safe. He asked for juice when we got home, but he threw it up all over the carpet. He asked for more though, and wanting to keep him hydrated, I kept giving it to him. He drank 3 full cups, watched TV all day, and 3 pancakes later, it had gone as quickly as it came. Weird! He even ate some chocolate from one of his eggs but he was fine.
He laid on the couch all day and even fell asleep for an hour or two.
Today I had inventory, and decided to finally change my address on my license (as you should after a month anyway) and I decided to get an enhanced license in the process. That is a license that will allow you to travel out of the country (or back in our country) by land or sea so I can finally go to Canada. I am half Canadian so you'd think I would have been first in line haha! Don't ever take a nearly 2 year old to the DMV. He was asleep when I got there, but a new baby woke him up and all he wanted to do was wander (which you can't do there.) Grapes, Elmo, a water fountain, and a piece of paper distracted him for a little bit, but even though it wasn't busy, we still were there for at least an hour. We had to get called to the window twice to get all the right documents filled out, and I feel like I was so distracted with him wiggling all over that I didn't fill in the right answers. I had to cross my and my mom's name off on there for filling it in wrong. They asked questions like what city my parents were born and I'm pretty sure I wrote those wrong too. It got approved though so I must have been close enough. I was so annoyed and sweaty by the time it came to the photo, that it wasn't cute (as usual.)
You can tell by my DL photos how my day went.
Photo 1 was the day before I turned 21 (I was going to Las Vegas the next day so had to go then) and asked if the lady could have the "real" one horizontal. Instead of just a "no, I wish I could but it has to be the same direction as the temporary one" she was super rude and made me feel stupid for asking. I was so upset I was about to cry!
The next one we just got married and I was changing my address to the house downtown. We only had to wait at the DMV for like 2 minutes total!
The last one was today and you can probably not see the sweat as it is a camera phone picture of the temp, but I was not in a great mood as you can see! You can see how my hair is pieced from sweating though from trying to contain a wiggly Sawyer (who managed to scribble all over the counter and I hope the guy didn't notice)

Cake and melting Neno
I had been seeing rainbow cakes all over the internet lately, and when a friend of ours pulled one off perfectly (as you can see here) I decided to try one in Easter colors to bring to my mom's house.
I usually just like box cake, so I bought two boxes of vanilla and mixed them up. I separated them into 5 bowls and colored them up, then put them into pans (had to borrow some from mom). I had to figure them out since the color box only came with blue red green and yellow.
They came out and I saw online that you have to be careful of the brown part (from the pan) as it makes them look pretty ugly. I pretty much had to rub all the brown off of most of it, then try to cut the rest off.
It wasn't much fun trying to saw the cakes right. I stacked them up. I am no perfectionist so it was good enough for me. The yellow was extra big because the pan didn't turn it brown, so Andy had to cut them all to the same size.
I have read that if you put a cake in the freezer for awhile, you wont get crumbs. We did that before frosting it, then threw it in the freezer again in the morning for the second coat. It worked!
I am pretty excited with how it turned out, everyone LOVED it (Andy made the frosting, just basic powdered sugar, vanilla, butter, and milk). They were impressed with the look and taste. I don't know if I will be doing it much though, it took up way too much time.
Are you wondering what Sawyer was doing while we made cake?
He was ruining his Cars movie. He has a history of hiding things on the top of the fireplace (you can slip stuff under the vent) but we have scolded him each time. Well this time, I smelled something like burning plastic, and turns out he shoved Cars in there.
This is what it looked like with the cover off. Apparently it fit under the cover.
It is his own punishment. Now he can't watch it twice a day. It was so hard to get out of there, and there is still a blob of plastic that we are afraid to turn the fireplace back on. I'm going to try a paint scraper later :(
