Boys Update

I realized I didn't do an update of Sawyer at age 4, so better late than never!

Sawyer:

-Sawyer likes electronics.  I wish he didn't like them so much, but this generation is bound to be attached to them with the advancements coming, so I guess he will fit right in.  He likes to watch Netflix, play games, and is now loving the Kinnect.

-His favorite show is Peppa Pig (which I recently devastated him in an argument when I informed him that Peppa is, indeed, a girl.  I had to site the dress and the fact that they call her a "she")  His other love appears to be the Ninja Turtles.

-His favorite food seems to be a tie between bagels and pizza now, depending on which day you ask

-His favorite color is still orange.  It has been orange since he could say the word "orange" so I am kind of impressed with his dedication of about 2 1/2 years now.  Michaelangelo is his favorite Ninja Turtle obviously.

-His skills haven't changed that much.  He can kind of write all the letters, but sometimes you have to be watching or knowing what he is trying to write if you want to make them out.  He is also kind of learning sounds associated with letters, but isn't very good at that yet.

-Things he enjoys doing are wrestling with Kellan, picking up Kellan to move him around, and hitting Kellan on various body parts with various objects.  He loves playing with him, he is just too rough sometimes. He also likes to throw things even though he is not allowed, and is sent to his room or the corner for it way too often, as well as mocking us and talking back.

-At night he likes to sleep on the floor by me, but he normally has to sneak in during the night for this.  Luckily he doesn't do it as often anymore, but I still have to be careful when getting out of bed in the morning because he is there sometimes.

-He talks like an adult most of the time, but still slips in things like "That's he's cup" to remind you he is still little.  He still has a super lisp, but he has been pretty good about using the "L" sound most of the time. (Eli was pronounced E-i and Kellan was Kewan)

Kellan:

-Kel is now only a week away from being 15 months old

-He loves to climb on things.  Especially tall things then stand up.  I don't enjoy that much.

-He still loves balls.  They are definitely his favorite toy and  he rolls, dribbles (soccer style) and throws them everywhere

-He also likes to throw anything and everything constantly.  This kid has an ARM.  This will be useful for baseball some day, but right now it is frustrating.  If he picks up my phone, I know that sucker is getting thrown at my face.  His sippy cups leak everywhere because he throws those and the stoppers pop out.

-He enjoys sticking his fingers in people's nose, ears, mouth, and anything he can tug on (like jewelry).

-He still doesn't talk much.  He says the same type of things for some stuff like when he waves bye or sees grandpa, but they aren't the real words.  We have got him to repeat words a few times, but they never stick.

-He claps, dances, waves, blows kisses, gives regular kisses by going "MMmmmAAA", runs, pulls up onto things (like the couch) but still is terrified to go down stairs.  He will go one step before looking terrified.  Speaking of terrified, he is very scared of being on swings, even when I'm with him.

-He doesn't seem to have any interest in TV or particular items besides balls and pushing cars around.

-He hasn't got any new teeth in the past few months but a couple molars are starting to peek through this past week.  His teeth are opposite Sawyer.  Sawyer had two on top and four on bottom, but Kel has two on bottom and four on top.

-He likes to wrestle people, especially Sawyer.
